Marketing Content Creator & Event Coordinator

Beta Bloc is seeking a creative, self-driven individual to lead our social media presence and help plan and execute engaging community events. If you love climbing culture, are skilled in graphic design, photography, video editing and/or marketing, and want to be part of a vibrant community, this role is for you!

Part-time, ongoing : Approx. 10 hours/week — Mostly on-site with some remote flexibility
Start Date: Flexible

  • Create eye-catching graphics, photos, and videos
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies in facility and through social media to grow our followers and engagement
  • Plan, coordinate, and support community meetups, competitions, and other social events
  • Work closely with the management team to align communications and event planning
  • Strong knowledge or interest of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, etc.), trends as well as community building and engagement
  • Skilled in graphic design, photography, and/or video editing, comfortable using editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and willing to learn
  • Creative, autonomous, and self-motivated
  • Excellent communicator; Being perfectly bilingual (French & English) is an asset
Details
  • Part-time, approx. 10 hours/week, mostly on-site, with some remote flexibility
  • Ongoing position with flexible start date
  • Pay based on experience
